To report a defect it helps a lot to include: device and OS version, app version, which season and which screen it happened on, and what you were doing at the time.
Questions that have come up
I lost my farm after changing phones
Progress is saved only on the device, because the game has no account and no cloud. No copy exists on my side and unfortunately it cannot be recovered. Changing devices, uninstalling or clearing app data erases the save.
The game opens in portrait and shows a thin strip
BioSafra is locked to landscape, because the game screen is 480 by 270. If your device has rotation locked to portrait, turn the device and unlock rotation in system settings.
I went broke in year 4 and did not understand why
That is common, and it is by design. Open the trajectory screen (the chart icon at the top) to see season by season what went up and what went down, and read the season close: it names, in one sentence, the decision that cost the most that cycle. In the game's own simulations, the average manager fails on cash rather than crop protection: building working capital before upgrading machinery is the lever that buys the most years.
Where do I see the numbers behind the game
Each field panel shows the live accounting in bags per hectare: how much each factor is taking away and how much each intervention saved. The season close breaks the loss down by origin: pests, disease, weather, sowing delay, harvest loss and residual.
Does the game work offline
Entirely. Once installed, nothing in the game depends on the network. The only thing that uses the internet is the visit counter described in the Privacy Policy, and it fails silently when there is no connection.
Can I use it in class or in training
Yes, and I am glad when it happens. Classroom, field day, technical training and team capability use is allowed, provided it is free for the audience. If you want supporting material or a lesson outline, write to me.
I found an agronomic number that looks wrong
Write to me with the source. The model is calibrated against public data from IMEA, Aprosoja, Conab, CNA and Embrapa's cooperative trial network, and every value has a recorded origin. A well founded disagreement with a source is the most useful contribution this project can get.
Deleting your data
The game creates no account and stores no identifiable personal data. If you still want the access records linked to your IP address deleted, write to juliolemosdf@gmail.com with the approximate date and time you played. Requests are honoured within 15 days.
